"I am so surprised there are so many positive reviews for this hotel. The first room I was put in was in SERIOUS need of an update. Dirty carpet, baseboards, walls, damaged furniture (all surfaces were completely banged up/burn/water marks, broken lamp) I asked to move rooms and did get moved to a more updated room. It was still needing some TLC. The pool chairs are newer and nice, but the pool and hot tub need some repairs. The edge around the hot tub is full of dirt/mold(?). Overall, it was fine enough that we stayed the whole 3 nights, but I would definitely not spend the amount we spent to stay there again. It needs a serious update. Pros: Friendly staff, good location for walking to downtown, it was quiet at night while we were there. "

"Sweet retreat in downtown Palm Springs. Clean, cozy and close to everything. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. With its villa/Frank Sinatra vibe-it definitely takes you back in time. "

"Room was clean, remodeled, hotel was remodeled. Right downtown and next to the gay bars and casino. Pool was nice. Coffee shop and pool bar were closed, which was a bummer. It was 90 degrees, but also February. So maybe it was the season? "

"I am not one to leave reviews, but this roach motel is completely misrepresented in every way. I needed a place to stay for a quick stop in Palm Springs, and was I in for an experience. The woman at the front desk was on her phone as she was "checking me in", she was rude and dismissive; she handed me my key without even looking at me. I walked up to my room and when I walked in, I was immediately struck by cigarette smoke and a dirty glass ashtray, they still allow smoking in rooms?? The place was very small and it looked like it hadn't even been cleaned. I head back down to ask for another room and the same woman, still on her phone, doesn't even greet me. I told her about the room and she said, "well it's a smoking room". I told her I could not stay in a smoking room and she made it a big ask for me to be moved to another one. The next room smelled like it had been sprayed down with Axe Body Spray. There was so much wrong, I'm just going to list them in order of the photos I took: Large stain on bed/sheets, big white stain on the drapes looked like [I won't say], table top with multiple cigarette burns, the bathroom sink had a used soap sitting in it, the shower/tub had mold growing around every exposed edge, the floor dirt was swept into the corners, the toilet had not been flushed, the wall thermostat looked like someone punched it and was broken and the total deal breaker, pubic hairs on the counter! People everywhere smoking pot and yelling. "

"The location is the only good thing about this place. The room door get stuck and you can't get into your room. The front desk did nothing about it. The towels are old and crappy and they have 1 ply toilet tissue. The ice bucket is a one quart bucket. You have to get Ice 5 times per day. This place is not worth the money."

"Welcoming to pets but no real pet area. Hotel is pretty run down. Fixtures were leaking overall just a mediocre hotel room. The whole property is pretty run down, large room but I desperate need of a deep clean and refurbishment. It’s ok, but at this price point would choose to stay elsewhere. "
