"Check in/check out went smoothly. Front desk staff was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Asia checked me in and my experience with her was very pleasant and helpful. The parking fee provided a secure environment and in/out at all times. The hotel renovations are very nicely done and appealing. My room was comfortable and hot water, for a change. The in room digital safe was an added bonus (my iPad fit inside). Great location to walk to restaurants, nightclubs, and shops. I will stay at Washington Plaza Hotel again on my next trip to DC. WPH, I wish this hotel would add a Starbucks!!! You got your ears on? lol."

"Location is excellent! Charming little hotel. It sits on the end of a row of beautifully restored old houses along the canal one block from the main road that’s lined with shops & restaurants in the heart of old Georgetown. There’s a parking garage directly across the street, 2 very nice coffee shops/bakeries within 1-2 blocks, an Italian restaurant next door, & it sits directly on the canal. Fantastic location & great price. Nice linens & it was very clean too!"

"After a recent stay at the Hotel Hive, I must say it was one of the many highlights of my trip to DC. If you're looking for just the right spot, this is it... For starters, the location in the Foggy Bottom area of DC is hard to beat. It's an incredibly safe and completely walkable neighborhood that makes getting around the DC area perfect. The 5-minute walk to the metro station was perfect for starting and ending our long days running around, taking in this amazing city. Since it was our first ever stay in a "Micro Hotel" our room felt anything but cramped. Our Loft room was cozy, comfortable, and perfectly designed to maximize the space given. What made the space stand out was the huge windows, which let in a ton of natural light, making the room feel bright and spacious, thus perfect for waking up and planning our day's adventures. Lastly, there was the phenomenal staff... Every staff member we encountered was super friendly and always willing to go that extra mile to help answer any questions that we had. One front desk staff member who stood out was Sana, who, at every interaction, was always the first to ask how we were and how our stay was going. She even mentioned several helpful insights that made our stay that much better. Simply put, I can not recommend the Hotel Hive enough.... It truly is a gem in the Foggy Bottom District of DC..."

"This hotel was very clean and nice. It appeared to have construction going on so areas were blocked off. They don't have vallet parking on the weekend. Parking they did have available was expensive. We stayed once before and it was so lively. This time it was very dull. "

"This hotel is made up of 2 buildings that look exactly alike inside, but different room numbers. We got turned around the first night and went to the wrong building after dinner. We were confused. We returned to the front desk and got it figured out. The staff was very nice but not very forthcoming with information. We had to ask where the restaurant was. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great."

"Nice location, larger room was worth it, somewhat noisy HVAC, impossible to control. I did not bother to ask about it (my wife didn’t mind and I just put some ear plugs in). Comfortable bed and linens. We did not use the restaurant or bar, quite loud and noisy if you like that kind of scene. Super walkable to everything we needed in embassy row."
