“Amazing experience to stay in a castle. We stayed in the Radcliffe Suite, so spacious and grand. The bathroom was huge! With a sauna! The bed was super comfy. My husband and I had dinner from the fine dining menu and our son was able to order from the relaxed dining menu which was great. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was equally wonderful, and my husband was very happy to see kippers as a menu choice. “We booked this at the last minute as we were travelling up to the Scottish borders and wanted to break the journey due to the extreme heat. We arrived very late (about 11pm) but we had called the hotel in advance and one of the staff agreed to wait for us. When we did arrive we were greeted with a very warm welcome. Our one regret is that we didn't have time to make use of the observatory (yes you read that right!) All staff very friendly and helpful and loved the breakfast”
