"Our room was amazing, so big! The verandah was fantastic with so much space. The location was unbeatable being only 10mins from the theme park attractions and close to supermarkets, food outlets etc.Access in and out of the property was easy and straightforward. The only thing we found as a begative was our sons room (2nd bedroom) the ceiling fan did not work and the aircon would make a loud humming noise every 5 minutes or so which made it difficult to sleep so we couldnt have that on which he found too hot to sleep without. We loved our stay and will definitely be back and recommended to others. "

"We were fortunate to get a deal which was affordable and convenient for us. We were in a 2-4 bed room which was comfy and met our general needs. The property is quite old and you get what you pay for. I would still stay as it is very close to Harbour Town and was easy to locate. If you're on a budget and just need a place to sleep while you are visiting the GC and enjoying the sites then this is a reasonable place to stay."
"We had a great experience at sandcastles its our go to every year as we travel to goldcoast every year. We have never had a bad experience at this property the kids love the pool the location is close to alot of different restaurants and the beach. "

What a cool spot!
The tents are fantastic, fit out with a great shower and heat pump, queen bed and king single bunk beds.
Breakfast was fantastic - great spread of a buffet catering to everyone.
A couple of things which weren’t 100% is that the top bunk wasn’t prepared when we arrived (had dirty sheets on them), however Cass at reception came straight away and apologised and fixed that!
Another thing is that there is no food available in the evenings if you are there during the week so have to go out elsewhere to find food.
All that being said we had an excellent time and will 100% be back! "
