โWe had a lovely experience staying in Sakuya hotel. The owners were very kind and helpful, offered us shuttle van to go to town. Offered us private onsen which was very relaxing. Rooms were futon bed with a view of Mt Fuji, breakfast was so yum. Would definitely come next time. โ
โWe stayed in the Japanese style Tatami room - it was m partner's favourite accomodation in Japan. It was spacious, with three rooms. It was very clean and everything we needed was provided. The owner warmly welcomed us upon check-in and then left us to our adventures (which is our preference). Would definitely stay here again.โ
โ+ : friendly and helpful staffs, welcoming atmosphere, great location, fully equipped kitchen, wonderful common area including codatsu, clean bedroom and shower room and good roommates.

"The room is huge but very very old and dirty. Hopefully the hotel will keep clean more to meet at least the standard of the hotel criteria.
We checked in at night, so we are tired from the trip. It would be better if the staff would not throw the check in job to the trainee who knows nothing like his first day. Due to this, made us tired even more to wait for him to finished checking in job around 30mins. If the permanent staff wants the trainee to work please guide him how to work not let him gone error and dont know how to check in for the guests like that.
Also on the checked out day, i was surprised a lot when came back to the room at 9.20am after breakfast that my room was open widely. At that time my belongings and valuable things were spread in the room. I felt terrible with this hotel security and service a lot. And i will not come back here again. "
