“When we arrived, there were dirty towels in the bathroom that were still wet. Lots of ants in the bathroom and room. Checkin took way too long. The previous owners and staff seemed genuinely super happy and were friendly all the time. Not the case any more. I felt like the interactions were a hassle and interrupted their day. When I asked for the room to be tidied up and towels changed, the front desk young woman said “oh, the housekeeper was just here” and pointed for me to chase her down....

“Nice setting. Restaurant was closed for a few days & when we arrived no one was around to give us our room.”

“For the location, it was a lovely spot. Friendly owners and comfortable beds! Clean and newly renovated”

“For whatever reason, the beds, and probably the matresses were just bad. Not sturdy, yet not level at all, and gave us some back pain in the morning (managed tobget some sleep, but could have been much better). Breakfast muffins were great and tasty, though it is certainly not your usual breakfast.”

“Booked ahead, arrived late after office closed. Called ahead and made arrangements to check in after office closed. Love this place, clean, very quiet. Just what we need for a night while travelling through Ontario. This was our second time here and will book again next trip to visit family.”

“Continental breakfast was wonderful and gave us the energy we needed for the next leg of our trip. Room was great. Would stay again.”

“Check in lady was very friendly. Room was very clean, little extras like chocolates, very nicely decorated, nice tv. Near the hiway and airport but not noisy in the room at all. I think only about a dozen or so rooms. Was a bit pricey but there were few rooms available so we took it.”

“No elevator to our room wife broke her leg not to long ago still on hiking poles. Breakfast was decent hotel is past its prime but the rooms are spacious.”
