"Beautiful older hotel- very well kept. Great view of the mountains from our balcony. Sat there relaxing enjoying a beer! Staff and breakfast were wonderful. Close walk to train station and Zugspitze Bahn. Has a pool sauna and steam room but we just stayed 2 nights so no time to use them but they looked excellent. We plan to come back next year and stay longer. We highly recommend Wittelsbacher Hof"

"The property is in a rural like setting yet is only minutes away from Partenkirchen. There is a beautiful lake to sit outside and enjoy as well as a walking path around the lake.
