“This is a lovely hotel. Great situation opposite the castle, so at the top of the hill! Continental breakfast of pastries, fruit, yogurt, cold meats, cheese toast. Plenty to choose from. We had a standard room which was spacious and nicely decorated. Large shower room. The plug sockets had been upgraded to include USB and phone charger sockets so you don’t need a plug. “A lovely stay with our Cavalier King Charles dog called Bella. The breakfast's were excellent and there was a good choice for the evening meal. Our room was OK but had a sloping roof and not very easy to stay clear of when getting into and out of bed. The pubs location was good and the journey into Lincoln by car very easy. ”

“Difficult to find and very problematic checking in. Digital check in never opened for me. The only way I was able to get into my room was that I was let in by a management person. I didn’t leave for dinner because I was afraid I’d be locked out. I wanted to drop my luggage around noon so I could see the sites without suitcase in tow but since there is no on site staff and no check in until 4 that was not possible. Please come up with a solution for travelers who need to store luggage. ”

Super huge shower, with white fluffy towels, and Elemis lotions and soaps. Only wish I had, had breakfast included, and been staying longer.”
