Wanted to try the Finch on our way home from Seattle after reading about its sister property in Boise, the Sparrow. We liked everything about the Finch - starting with the wine sampler at check in. Our room was great - the king bed was super comfortable. We will stay again sometime!

The Finch is a great hotel within a 3 minute walk to downtown Walla Walla. Rooms are large; funky decor. Loved it. Bathroom is very clean and the shower is large. The take-away for me is the beds and pillows. One of the most comfortable beds and pillows I have slept in and on. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a common area with an outdoor fireplace to enjoy a glass of Washington State wine. A great place to stay. Highly recommended.

Really liked the price point, the property grounds, outdoor hang out areas, remodel execution, comfort of the mattress and pillows, vibe, service and location. Parking was rough, as there is not enough spots available; need more. Biggest negative was the toilet room. With a barn door, sound deadening is less. Perhaps add a loud fan?

Super cute and clean. Giant comfy pillows and nice bed. The front desk staff were all friendly and were able to accommodate a special request for early check in so we could do all the get ready things for a wedding the following day. Love all the outside areas for hanging out …the topper would be a swimming pool but not sure where it would go. Would stay again and recommend.

My booking of this property was a gamble, as I was unfamiliar with the venue and town (Our maiden visit to Walla Walla). The Finch was so wonderful, that staying there felt as much of a destination location as is downtown Walla Walla. It is uniquely designed and decorated, giving the feel of visiting a friend with great decor/design taste rather than a lodging space. There are many personal touches in the design and decor, and numerous areas around the property to sit and relax. As an older couple (50's-60s- I am so cursingly reluctant to use "older".let's say "mature" in our tastes...) the venue perfectly catered to our demographic (as did Downtown). The Finch is at the top of the main street for downtown-I can not imagine a better location for enjoying Downtown. Walking distance allows for exploring all the Cellars and tasting rooms without concerns on how to get back. Staff was extremely professional and their friendliness was otherworldly. I share all this reluctantly, as I fear if others find out what a diamond find this is may make this lodging deservedly unavailable for our return. I guess I better return quickly. The Finch is a gift to stay at and honors Walla Walla perfectly....
