"Excellent stay in this beautiful pub. The heart of England staff were very helpful and polite. The room was warm and clean and had everything you needed, the beds were very comfatable . The hotel was very close to the wedding venue that I was attending, only a three minute drive. The breakfast in the morning was lovely. Would definitely stay here again when I'm in the area. Thank you all for a lovely stay xx."

"Staff was great, polite and helpful. Breakfast was done well. The room: shower water pressure was fantastic! Room location at front of the building was loud, at times, with street noise and a lot of sound coming up from the pub until the wee hours, especially on karaoke nights - beware!! Carpet was very dirty and stained and seemed to lack being vacuumed for quite a while. The real negative was the bed. I grew up sleeping on a cheap, surplus army cot with a thin mattress for my entire childhood....
