“Stayed for 2 nights as we were in the area for a Woodturning experience. Room we had was a converted garage and was perfect for our needs. Fully self contained with parking outside. We booked breakfast at £10 each and it was brought to the room at a time of our choosing, brilliant. Staff extremely friendly and there us a lovely, large garden to relax in at the back.”

“The property was great, good parking, easy check in and very clean. My only complaint was the fact there is no mirror in the main room where the dressing table area is so when getting ready and straightening my hair and doing make up it wasn’t convenient with only a mirror in the bathroom. “Lovely stay at the Woodlands. The owner and his wife couldn't be nicer people. It's a nice change from the homogenised and impersonal experience you normally find at the typical chain hotels.
The setting of the place was so nice aswell. Lovely trees, beautiful countryside and the nice older buildings... it made it feel unique.
