“All of the staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. We ate at the pub and the food was good sized portions and of a good quality. The breakfast was particularly good! The room was quirky and of a good size. Overall, we would highly recommend staying at the Hoops Inn.”

Well located for exploring the North Devon coastal region, Bideford is lovely and we also had a great day at Westward Ho! Hot tub at the house was most welcome in the evening after a long day exploring the coastal path.”

“Very nice room with sea view, unfortunately very steep stairs to get there and as suffering mobility issues, not the best, although staff were not aware. Breakfast excellent, and evening meal for 7 highly commented on favourably, hot plates and food. Unfortunately a bout of food poisoning occurred overnight, although the source cannot be confirmed but suspected. Would recommend and stay again. Chair to be placed in room in September after renovations will be a bonus.”

“Loved everything about the property. Loved all the walks from the property. The walk to the waterfall was amazing. We are vegetarian and we had a number of choices to choose from. The room was outstanding. Breakfast was outstanding. Every last thing was a 10 out of 10. We had no clue what we were getting into when we came. Everything blew us away.
