“The room was good in size and decor , garden room suite. We were on the ground floor the room above us you could hear everything even the person snoring , the floor must have been floorboards and we could hear everything, This woke us up and continued throughout the morning!”

“The check in was quick and easy. The breakfast was really good. The room we had was on the front with a big window which was lovely but had to draw curtains for privacy in day. The only criticism was that there was a slight sewer type smell on arrival going up the stairs to the room and also in the morning in the bathroom but otherwise we had a lovely one night stay.”

“My family stayed in 2 superior rooms for one night. There is no lift so luggage has to be carried up the stairs. Room 14 was on the first floor and huge, room 30 was on the second floor and slightly smaller. The shower was over the bathtub with a curtain. The staff in the restaurant and elsewhere were excellent and we enjoyed the food (bearing in mind this is a Greene King, not a Michelin starred restaurant :). “The Corners Inn is a hidden gem. Fantastic old bar and dining room with real character. High quality breakfast - you can tell real care has been taken sourcing ingredients. Bedrooms are in a new annex, so spacious and quiet. Would love to find an excuse to go back!”

“This is a converted coaching inn at the junction of a few roads. Easy parking, good breakfasts and dinners, plenty of character. A bit of a downside if you’re a light sleeper with the traffic and kitchen exhaust system. Otherwise, easy place to stay.”
