โWe really enjoyed our stay at the Old Vine. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us as we came in quite late. They helped us with parking and we found our room well stocked with everything you could possibly need on vacation! They even brought our breakfast at our room so we could, continue on our travels quickly. Our room was quite large and very comfortable! โ

โThe staff at the hotel couldnโt have been nicer or more helpful, particularly Anka. Iโd fallen and cracked my ribs and they immediately brought an ice pack and changed my room so I wouldnโt have as many stairs and did everything possible to help me. The hotel is charming with a beautiful garden and a nice restaurant. โ
โReally nice, spacious rooms. We stayed with our 2 small children and there was enough room for all of us.
The location is perfect - very central but on a quiet street. The best feature of the hotel is the garden seating. Eating outside there is very special indeed.
My only complaint is the charge of 15 pound for parking! I've never stayed at a hotel before and been charged for parking. And when I was shocked at the cost the receptionist rolled her eyes at me, as though I was the one being...

โIโm so disappointed with this arrived and it was not even close to what I was expecting from the booking. Not to mention that I had to wait outside for nearly an hour and a half as someone else had taken my room and I had not been given any information on how to enter the property keys, et cetera. Once I finally got hold of The guy in charge, he was not very pleasant to deal with or very welcoming.

โFirst of all, its close to the train station and various busses which is a bonus. the price of the room was a bargain and provided what we needed just fine, a bed, tv, kettle, cups, shower? toilet and cupboards, so 5* for that.
we were on top floor which wasnt mentioned on the room directions on the ground floor, just said to room 21 but missed out 22.
there was no plug in the sink and no details for the free wifi so couldnt get internet.
the checkout time advertised was 11 and the door lock...
โGreat little getaway. We stayed overnight, and had dinner in the restaurant. The food was great, and the staff were fantastic. Close to Winchester, but far enough to have a real countryside vibe!
