“Staff was excellent. Food in restaurants were very good. Plenty of option and good portions”

“The room was great. There is a breakfast room downstairs which is open all of the time to get coffee and tea etc. We were leaving on a Sunday morning around 8am before breakfast started, but the staff were really helpful and put some food out ready for us (cereal and milk was already out anyway). The pub is lovely next door”

“Wykeham Arms is a period institution! Accomodation is a plus, and great food... Location, location, location helps!”

“Excellent hotel. On site parking a bonus.”

“Fresh, clean and continently located. Helpful host.”

“The hotel is very central and has a pleasing feel to it. The staff are very helpful. Our bedroom was a little tired in places, due to being old rather than modern, but it was large and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has lovely touches to the common parts, such as rows of cyclamen on the window sills. We thought the parking was over-priced although we understood that we were in the centre of Winchester. We decided not to book breakfast as we thought it was quite expensive and there are lots...

“The pub is in a great location for exploring the town. The bar has a nice atmosphere and serves very nice food Lovely breakfast too The bedroom was great Definitely will return”

“Very dated and over priced.”

“It was everything we expected and more. Wonderful time in Romsey.”

“We had a delightful stay...and a wonderful breakfast. My wife thought the eggs were prepared perfectly.”

“A very quaint and memorable visit. Hotel was charming, restaurant was wonderful, staff were exceptional. Located in the heart of Bishop Waltham, all the shops were exceptional and everyone we met in town were so very friendly. We had such a wonderful stay.”

“The hotel facilities are too old.”
