"I almost had a bump on the cement object in the parking lot. Other than that, I enjoyed staying."
Red Roof Inn Winston-Salem
8/10 Good
"The bed took up most of the usable space in the room. Toiletries were minimal but adequate. Mini-fridge and microwave functional though microwave a trifle dodgy. No place to sit down except on the bed. Older property refurbished and fairly clean. For the solo (and definitely solo) traveller who wants to save money, this is a good but minimal choice."
Spark by Hilton Winston-Salem University

"Clean, convenient"

"Good overnight for family while traveling. Comfortable and clean and staff was excellent. ONLY neg—pillows—small and wimpy, temp in room was hard to control—too cold or too warm. Overall great for the price."
The Historic Brookstown Inn, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

"Huge room. Great location. Friendly staff. Coffee wasn’t the best, but otherwise very satisfied!"

Courtyard by Marriott Winston-Salem University

"The staff was pleasant, and it was nice that the staff asked on which floor we preferred to stay . But the facilities looked like they need a refreshing. Most problematically, the air conditioning was quite noisy. It did work well, so that was a relief, but in the other hotel we are staying tonight in Davidson, the a/c is much quieter."

"Everything was great except for the long lines for elevators"
