"How many times do you have to ask yhe front desk or the staff to put soap in the shower dispensers? We asked so many times, and each time the staff courteously responded, "Yes, we will take care of it." But they didn't. They didn't clean the room at all.
We were told on Hotels.com that the buffet breakfast was included with the hotel stay. I paid extra for that, in fact. But not any more. We have to purchase a $10.95 breakfast ticket.
What kind of "Inn and Conference Center" doesn't have a business center? I had to travel several miles to an Office Depot to print a document.
All of my disappointment is compounded because I recommended this hotel to several family members who flew 3,000 miles to meet us in Winston-Salem, only to stay in a sub-par hotel.
My family and I have stayed here in the past, as recently as 3 years ago. The service was excellent. Not any more. I don't know if they changed management or are just trying to deal with inflation. I don't care. I just know that I will never stay here again."
