Winston - Salem, North Carolina hotel rooms at the Wyndham Hotels

"This place was so nice! We loved the history and the charm! Staff were helpful and polite. The room was spacious and clean. And breakfast was great! The negatives were minor - the room was huge with a high vaulted ceiling which was great but there was only one small vent to heat the room and overnight the temp never got above 68 even though it was set to 72… it was 25 outside with snow and ice though so it could have just been that the frigid temps were too much for the heating system. The other negative is just a pet peeve of mine. When I get a room for 3, I expect at least 3 washcloths and 3 towels. Why hotels want to provide only two sets annoys me. Additional towels came quickly though which was good. This will be one of our frequent stops when traveling WS."
