“I didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment, but it looked fresh. Had a coffee but was luke warm, could not be warmed up as it was from a machine. Staff super helpful when I requested to move to a bigger room. Manager was very helpful too. The only thing that let the hotel down is that the walls and floors could be thicker, a family that were staying seemed to let their children run free, up and down the corridors! Was annoying. Could not hear the traffic noise at all. Aircon was nice....

“The room was clean enough but the shower room had streaks down the paint and signs of mildew. There was some discarded cigarettes by our bedroom door that a previous occupant must have left but housekeeping never removed them before or during our stay. Food in the restaurant was decent but the service was slow and we had to ask several times over for jugs of water to be brought to our table, too. “Not easy to find if you follow SatNav. Better to follow directions provided. Very pleasant situation in beautiful countryside. Staff were great, Room was good and reasonably comfortable but we fail to see how it qualified to be DeLux. Just little things would make a huge difference, For instance TV was mounted too high on the wall and therefore not comfortable to watch. Lighting was gloomy.
