Everything was excellent. 100% recommended.

This was our 5th stay at this resort. First it was Omni and now Wyndham. We enjoyed our stay in a villa at this beautiful resort. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. Thank you to Julio at the beach, Ivo and Sergio (?) at La Vista and all the wonderful wonderful bartenders that provided great service. A special thank you to Patrica with concierge for helping us with our stay. We look forward to returning again in the near future.

Secrets claimed this is a "New" property, only part of the building is new and that area is reserved for their "Preferred club members". So the rest of the building has had some updates and it's OK, but not NEW. Very disappointed in their claims. Some of the staff seem to have a distinct problem with what a 'proper dress sandal is' My wife wore the same dress sandal to 6 restaurants and never had a problem. The last night of our stay a restaurant we had been to before turned us away saying her sandal wasn't up to their dress code. Very rude and not helpful at all.

Property was a little older but still kept up quite nicely. The staff were very nice and helpful. The food was very good at all the restaurants! The seaweed/ its smell made the beach unusable unfortunately but the resort was doing what they could to clean the beach. The pools were great so even without the beach you could still have a very enjoyable and relaxing time

We had a wonderful stay with our family (w/ young kids!). Facilities were beautiful and clean! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The highlight of our stay was our concierge, Fernanda, she was absolutely amazing and so helpful. She made our stay feel effortless and was so on top of things which made a big impact on our experience. She was in regular communication and easy to connect with, let us know of resort happenings daily, made all of our dinner reservations ahead of time, reserved us cabanas, set up a special welcome and later a birthday delivery for my husband, took care of everything related to our lagoon sunset cruise, and made sure we were taken care of completely from beginning to end. Our overall experience would not compare without her! She was so easy to communicate with and we saw her daily around the hotel. THANK YOU Fernanda, you're the best! Some opportunity for growth in the resort: not all of our friends had the same experience. Some of us were given welcome drinks upon arrival, others were not. Our concierge was fantastic, but our friends had the opposite experience and no service from their concierge. Some of us were given a coupon booklet for things around the resort, and others were not. Would be nice for consistent experience for all. The food could also be elevated. We tried most of the restaurants and buffet and it was okay but nothing too great, seems like a lot of the same basic food. We also wished we could take stuff to go and eat @ the pool

The hotel was very clean and staff (like restaurant servers, housekeepers, janitors, but not front desk or customer service) was very friendly. Food was great. However, they gave you a bill for almost everything you may have to consider giving a tip even though you don't have to but making you feel uncomfortable.

The property needs some remodeling and the beach and water had a lot of seaweed. Otherwise it was a great time.

The hotel is very well maintained, amenities are good, but the offers at the All included restaurants are not good. I didn't see variety of food, and the specialized restaurants, for which you have to reserve in advance take long time to serve you and the food is not good. I'm going to give an example: The seafood restaurant had only salmon and scallops, so, where are the diversity of seafood you suppose to find in it?. If you want a lobster or shrimps you have to pay extra, and the prices are very expensive. It doesn't have many entertaining choices either. The rest of the things are good, I mean the rooms, the beach, the bars, pool, and the staff.
