The staff were nothing but extremely pleasant. Super nice & accommodating. The rooms were immaculate. Even with all the renovations going on, we were still able to have an amazing vacation. Really top notch resort.

Room was always clean and fresh. Beach towels replaced daily. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Staff bringing drinks were around continuously. Entertainment team was on point. Food was delicious. The beach is eroding, but nothing that the resort is responsible for. This was our second stay at this resort and we would definitely go back.

The food was very fresh and there was lots of variety. The only complaint is that it can be quite noisy at night especially if you have a room near the paring lot. There were trucks backing up with their beeping at 5:00am in the morning and the sound of cleaning in the hall ways very early.

Our third time to stay at Valentin Imperial. We are Premier Expedia member and eligible for a room upgrade. But everytime, they always say, we are full, for which I don’t believe 100%. They just don’t want to give us a room upgrade, I think. Second, we finally got the chance to book the Japanese restaurant, Hibachi. We came on time and chose the front seat. Then these 4 couples who came in late and Juana, the staff, wants us move to accommodate the late comers! She just ruined my husband’s bday celebration!! So, we moved to the corner of the table. At the end of dinner, one the guest who felt bad for us, told Juana that it is my husband’s bday, Juana came back with a cheesecake and a candle and startled singing Happy Birthday to ME!!! Just a bad experience at the Japanese restaurant.

Food was great. Clean and beautiful hotel and hotel grounds. Beach isn’t the best, but they are in the process of fixing it. No night life, only one bar open at night and closes 11 pm.

The resort was nice. Rooms were clean. Beach was ok, bring water shoes for the ocean if you plan to swim. There is lots of rock and coral. Not a lot of night life, things close arou d midniggt

This is a very beautiful property. You did a great job at creating a place that genuinely feels like a natural extension of the environment. Conversely, soon as I arrived I was being treated like a money sign and received very poor service, and I think for the wrong reasons. We had numerous staff tell us one thing and then we would come back and they would tell us another thing. This was not a language barrier. We also found the waiters to be quite rude: waiters would say snide things, make disparaging comments about your looks, disparage you for not knowing Spanish, and in general treat you poorly. Did not expect this from a supposed five star resort.

Such a beautiful place! The food was great (so many fresh options) and the resort’s team was so friendly and attentive. We loved our time there — even on the cloudy days, it was warm and very enjoyable. The beach was also a dream!
