Hotel was well maintained with friendly and helpful staff. The pool and entertainment team- Isreal, Roxy, and Sebastian were fantastic. Fun daily activities and nightly entertainment. Room had perfect view of the Gulf. Our biggest complaint was overall food quality and selection. Breakfast was buffet and some of the food did not look fresh. Had to request bacon- but they are happy to get it for you. The other restaurants- one did not sound good to us and then Don Gus had good appetizers and lime soup, but the entrees were just ok. Nothing to get excited about. Our meal at Marco Polo was good. The pizza counter by the pool was delicious! Wish there was a larger selection of food options overall. For a return visit- We would like more from the food and found we prefer adults only, but great small resort and perfect for families. They have a very loyal following. Would recommend overall.

Ocean and pools on property view. Nice cafes on beach well kept. Easy to get around convenient breakfast buffet, Dinners were good portions and served very well. Concierge was helpful and staff seemed to look out for each guest.

Rating: 4.8/5 ​Our stay at Live Aqua Cancun was fantastic. The pool layout is excellent, offering a perfect balance between a lively swim-up bar and designated quiet areas for relaxation. I cannot stress this enough: the resort is kept immaculately clean. The staff across the board were friendly, and the food was consistently wonderful. ​For those considering an upgrade, we booked through the VIP Club, and the club staff and butlers were exceptional—they truly elevated the experience. ​Areas for Improvement ​While our trip was nearly perfect, there are two things to keep in mind: ​Corporate Event Interference: Occasionally, the hotel hosts events for outside companies that can intrude on the guest experience. During our stay, a pool and the hot tub were closed to accommodate private parties. It would be better if these were hosted in areas that close earlier (like the swim-up bar at 6:00 PM) to avoid displacing guests from facilities that stay open until 7:00 PM. ​Nightlife Scale: The onsite nightclub and bars are fun but significantly smaller than what you might find at other major resorts. This didn't negatively impact my trip, but it’s worth noting if high-energy dancing is a priority for your itinerary. Beach cleanup fee: The hotel charges a 5 dollar clean up fee for the beach. ​Overall Verdict: I highly recommend Live Aqua for its service and atmosphere. I would definitely return! Also make sure to go to MB for habanero soup.

The place was ok, the room was outdated, hard to get reservation for the restaurant, if you get late to your reservation they wont let you in, food was ok, long lines for dinner, we had to take down the beach chairs from the pool and there wasn't barely any shade, the staffs were nice a d friendly. The beach was my favorite place had a great time there.

Staff is exceptional. Favorite restaurants, or the Asian and Olio. Alejandro at Olio was exceptional. We ate breakfast there every morning, but want. Ate breakfast at the buffet one time, but the food was lukewarm. The rooms are very clean excellent house cleaning service. Excellent room service for a coffee and pastries and mimosas in the morning. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is it seems like the preferred area pool area is over sold. The chairs are just right next to each other just lined up. The beach is very small. Just a few cabanas. You literally have to get out there at 7:30 and sit in the chair to save a seat on the beach or at the pool area. Other than that and being very crowded in a small resort, it was a nice stay.

First, I would like to say the service all the way around was impeccable! Special mentions to Miguel at the door and Juan by the pool for always smiling and giving great service. Everything was clean housekeeping was great. The food was pretty good for an all-inclusive. Areas for improvement: I know they were dealing with with a bad smell in the downstairs areas, but the massive amounts of spray air freshener was overwhelming at times to the point of making my eyes and nose burn. We never once got to eat dinner in the dining room, except for I guess the first night in the Mexican restaurant, which was average at best which is the only reason we were able to get in there without a terribly long wait. I would not go back just partly because of the cattle call for dinner. No one wants to stand in line or wait around that long, I would advise taking reservations as other resorts do. We ended up eating room service in the room every night and then going down for whatever entertainment we could find which was hit and miss could use more entertainment options.

The resort and room are very clean. The service could be better, don't expect to be brought food while lounging at the beach. DO NOT book on the Lagoon side, you will hear the highway all night - this happened to us and luckily they found us another room that was quiet. The food is ok, it will sometimes taste better than it looks! Guest services and the servers at the restaurant are great. If you have to eat at the buffet, avoid anything at the height of children, they touch it all! We stayed on the adults only side which was peaceful, not a party, lots of ppl 60+ and a very chill vibe. The proximity to the beach is lovely. Room and bed are quiet comfy.
