Hispaniola Cheap Vacations

No Ac in front desk and lobby, the drinks was all cheap liquor,the room was ok and restaurants was all booked up no available.

I have never done a review, but I wanted to do one on this vacation we took! My husband and I just got back a couple days ago from this resort. We had a blast! It was hot when we got down there 87 feels like 100! Our shuttle dropped us off at aquamarine from there, they take you by golf cart to Ambar! We got there and they said that they didn’t have our room ready. I was thinking that we would wait a little bit. No it was more like. We can up grade you to a swim out or down grade you regular room and romantic dinner. We took the down grade and wanted to stay in the same building. We got to our room and it was nice. The hallways are outside, going into your room feels good with the air. You do get a butler in each building that sits on the main floor that will help you with whatever you need. The sec day we went down like told a switched room to a corner room and it was beautiful. The only complaint that I had was, the ceiling in the bathroom fell down leaving a whole. looked like they had patched it 5x still not working. There was water leaking out of the wall by the shower puddled on the floor, the curtains to look outside came down a little bit. The biggest thing of all was the air went out and it was 75 and sticky in our room. They have an app that you can download that has all the restaurants you want to eat at. You can book them on the 7-9 was mostly taken every night so make sure that you look at that right way. Bring cups, there cups at the bar are juice glasses!

Property was clean but staff at the buffet was not very tentative. I didn’t care for the food. The bathroom was outdated but beds were very comfortable. What I didn’t like was when on the beach there was no waitress taken any drink orders. We stayed at the adults only side and had to go to Paradise side for entertainment not much to do at the adult side.

Clean and good ac in room. Swim bar bartender was quite rude and was not a language barrier. I speak Spanish and English fluently. Maybe he was over whelm. He should know you work in customer services. Take a break gather your self and then come back. Also tons of seaweed. Wish expedia would have put it on the site. It was not swim able. We had to stay in the pool the whole time. Sucks bc you travel many hours only to not be able to enjoy the beach. The night shows were good and food.

I really liked the property but I don’t think I got anything special for platinum level of Expedia. Never received the bottle of spirits and no bathrobe. However we had a nice room. Check in was NOT the same as last time when I was only gold. We didn’t receive pool towel tickets and the 70$ tickets were just pushed to me and the man said “you scan”. Also room not ready. We did have a great time though.
