Mexico and Central America Kid friendly Vacations

The food was pretty good, and the pool was absolutely amazing! Most of the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. Once the staff learned how much I love animals, they even brought a hawk over for me to say hello to and showed me some baby turtles, which was such a special experience. I truly adored the waiters, hostesses, housekeepers, and bartenders. They made our stay feel warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, I had to deduct a star because of our experience with the hotel’s travel guide/concierge. This is a wonderful hotel, but I strongly recommend booking your own tours and doing your own research rather than relying solely on the concierge for excursion or rental-car advice. I was told that renting a car for one day would cost over $400 and that the police would essentially target us as tourists if we drove ourselves. I was only asking where I could rent a car, but instead I was steered toward a $240 activity that came with promises about experiences that ultimately weren’t there. What bothered me most was feeling like we were given misleading information in order to convince us to spend more money. I later found rental cars available for around $40 for the day, which was drastically different from the price I had been quoted. Overall, I really enjoyed the hotel and its staff, and I would happily recommend the resort itself. I just encourage future guests to research transportation and excursions independently so they can make informed decisions.

Our stay in Cancún was wonderful, but the person who truly made our experience unforgettable was Luany. From the moment we met her, she treated us with genuine kindness, patience, and professionalism. She didn’t just do her job—she consistently went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed, comfortable, and taken care of. What stood out most was how sincere she was. Luany made us feel like valued guests rather than just another reservation. She was attentive, knowledgeable, warm, and always willing to help. Her positive energy and exceptional customer service made a lasting impression on both of us and elevated our entire vacation. Employees like Luany are the reason guests remember a hotel, recommend it to others, and choose to return. Management should know that she is an incredible representative of this property and a tremendous asset to the team. She deserves to be recognized and rewarded for the level of care she provides. If raises, promotions, or employee awards are being considered, Luany should absolutely be at the top of that list. Thank you, Luany, for helping make our Cancún trip so special. We truly appreciate everything you did for us and hope the hotel recognizes how fortunate they are to have you!

Our stay at Villa del Palmar Cancun was absolutely wonderful! The property is beautiful, luxurious, and the perfect place to relax while still having plenty of activities to enjoy. We especially loved the heated luxury pools, which were gorgeous and incredibly relaxing. The fully equipped gym and workout area was impressive, and my daughter and I also enjoyed spending time together in the dance and yoga room—a great addition to the resort’s wellness amenities. The restaurants were fabulous, and every dining experience added something special to our stay. A very special shout-out goes to Angel De Jesus, our waiter at Davino Italian Bistro. His exceptional service, warm personality, and attention to detail helped make my daughter’s birthday dinner truly unforgettable. He went above and beyond to make her feel celebrated, and it became one of the highlights of our trip! From the beautiful grounds and pools to the wellness spaces, delicious food, and outstanding hospitality, Villa del Palmar Cancun exceeded our expectations. We created some wonderful mother-daughter memories here and would definitely recommend this resort for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable Cancun getaway!
