Great facility, service and meals. Especially appreciate the front desk and restaurant staff who helped me find my lost purse and passport before checkout. It is really essential for our continued trip in Japan.

Everything about this place was amazing. Probably one of the highlights of our trip. Beautiful onsen, huge house. The kids really wanted a traditional stay. The entire Izu peninsula was a great place to explore and have a couple quieter days between big cities.

This secluded beach is among the most beautiful on the Izu Peninsula and is perfect for swimming, morning walks and for viewing Mount Fuji.
Shuzenji Temple is just one of the places to see in Shuzenji, so why not enjoy the other things to explore during your travels? Discover the hot springs in this culturally rich area.
Learn the early history of the Izu Peninsula at this dedicated gold museum or try panning for gold at the mine next door.

Maybe I didn’t get enough time, but I wasn’t blown away. There were few onsens and they all required a significant amount of transport to reach. The food options weren’t great but the nature was pretty, just not prettier than any other part of Japan.
