“Unbelievable view and is a total experience of rainforest”

“The staff here is absolutely fantastic! Even though our trip started a bit bumpy, they totally turned it around and made us feel so welcome and at home. Their hospitality was beyond amazing, and they were super accommodating to everything we needed. We're definitely coming back when we're in the La Fortuna area! They even helped us plan activities and surprised my sister for her birthday, which was so sweet! Big shout-out to Alejandro, Jimmy, Carlos, and Victor! Pura Vida !”

“Absolutely love it here, perfect location”

“The property and it's grounds were beautiful and the staff was great. Fo us we didn't want to stay in a place that was overwhelmed by tourists and this was great choice.”

“The plan was very clean. We enjoy our stay very much. The main issue is the travel going there and out w the gravel. Very bad road but hopefully they’ll fix it soon. Plenty of parking”

“The Retreat is gorgeous. The views of the Volcano and Lake are amazing. The pescatarian menu is perfect for vegetarians and pescatarians. All three meals are served. We did not have meals included but very much enjoyed dinner and breakfast there. The pocket sized gathering places are charming - slider over looking lake, dining room and reception, the separate lounge area with tea and coffee looking into the jungle. The evening walk was fun. The property is on the top of a very steep hill...

“Marianne (zelf ook Nederlands van oorsprong) heeft ons zeer gastvrij verwelkomt. We waren blij verrast met ons verblijf. Behoorlijk ruim, grote bedden, complete keuken, nette badkamer, heerlijke douche!

“The property is beautiful, with such amazing views, so many birds to see each morning! Special shoutout to Pablo- who was very responsive and also helped arrange wine bottle for us at a late hour. Would definitely recommend this place. ”

“Clean place. The host was helpful and attentive. I personally would come back....”

“Fantastic stay, clean and comfy. Difficult to find with the Google maps directions given, but owner was very helpful and allowed us a late check in”

“We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Oro Verde! Everything was in excellent condition and the place is very well-maintained. We loved the fact that when we arrived the property had a nice pool that we weren’t expecting, so it was a great surprise! The property is located in a quiet and peaceful area surrounded by nature and at the same time the location is incredibly convenient, just 15-minute drive to La Fortuna. Our experience was great from start to finish!”

“If you were only staying for one or two nights in Chachagua, then this motel might suit you fine, please be highly aware of their nonrefundable policy. I made the mistake of booking this hotel for two weeks so that I had a homebase for my entire stay in Costa Rica. When I realize that I was not very happy staying there, I was unable to cancel or get refunded for my unused nights.”

“Super herzliche Leute, super Guide und Tour. Sauber und neu. Danke Jose :)”
