"Regent is at a very good location in Taipei and it's very walkable. The property is well maintained and part of a complex with the Regent Galleria. You definitely can tell this is an upscale property. There's a Louis Vuitton right in the lobby, but the hotel is not pretentious so even casual travelers will feel welcome. The rooms are very large as are the bathrooms. It actually felt a bit silly taking 4 large steps from the door to the sink. Daily cleaning was very good. On site dining options were extensive but my only experience was the breakfast buffet. Selection is great, including local, western, Korean, Japanese options. I would recommend this for travelers searching for a more upscale experience and business travelers."

"I was thoroughly impressed by the hotel room. My main takeaway was how spacious and well laid out it was. I loved the ample space to put two open full-sized luggage bags out for me and my wife. "Stayed in the deluxe quadruple room that had 2 double beds. Requested and got cot, baby bathtub and small stool. These were really helpful as we had an infant. Tv was mounted on a pole and quite in the way, although the bracket installed allowed it to rotate and shift a bit, it helped but still a small hazard if the toddler isn't careful, but can teach an impt lesson to be careful. Room was clean enough, water pressure good. Water dispenser and laundry room facilities are helpful. Plus a playroom that would appeal to toddlers probably till age 3+. Lobby had pretty nice vibes that i would have enjoyed relaxing more if had time to myself. Overall i enjoyed the stay and would consider this place again in the future."
