“Booked this as a last minute stay and we were so happy with our decision! It was so cozy and clean, and staff were very friendly!”

“I don't recommend this hotel never. The reception women wasn't nice, and my wife and I couldn't sleep well because my room is loud noise of my door next front door . There is a most upsetting situation. And I was very cold in sleep because the heating didn't work at all night. The heating regulator did not work. It was 2am that I founded that the heating didn't work. I caught a runny nose next day and my trip was interrupted. I never recommend this hotel.”

“Enjoyable area”

“It was a few blocks walk from the main streets which was a great location. Staff was exceedingly helpful. Mackenzie spent a great deal of time with us planning our day at Acadia Park. The breakfast frittata was great - had it twice.”

“I enjoyed the old camp ground vibe that the place gave. It felt more family oriented. You’re really close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. There’s also boat tours across the street! The perfect place to stay when you’re visiting Acadia.”

“Book it!! Everything about this place is amazing. Easy, free parking. Quick drive away from Acadia National Park and easily walkable to the entire downtown. Huge, clean, rooms, with a quiet ac unit that really works. Its worth evey penny, I'll definitely be back! ”

“We had a delightful stay at the Hearthside Inn for our 4-day, 3-night visit to Bar Harbor/Acadia. The inn was immaculate and cozy, the innkeeers were warm and helpful, and the food was delicious (particularly all the well-stocked homemade treats). The inn was off a quiet street but centrally-located to all the best of Bar Harbor. The only small inconvenience was that the old structure has walls on the thin side and if you’re a light sleeper, you may hear your neighbors get up for a sunrise...
