"The room was adequate in terms of amenities in the room, comfort of the bed, and shower facilities. The location next to the train station was excellent. The breakfast in the morning was adequate as well. It is an excellent value for the price of the room."

"What a wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff, management, and owners. I got delayed on my way into Imterlaken and the manager stayed a bit after closing to make sure I got in. Top notch hospitality! This hotel is a perfect home base for exploring the Jungfrau region. Affordable and comfortable. highly recommend getting breakfast as part of your stay. I will be staying here again next time I am in Interlaken. Cheers!"

"Lovely preserved hotel that brings you back in time right in the middle of Lauterbrunnen. Part of the front of the hotel was used in the James Bond movie “Her Majesty’s Secret Service” back in the 1960’s. The scenery from the hotel terrace and front patio is spectacular! However, I strongly suggest booking a larger room and not the single room for 1. It was tiny and I struggled with fitting an open suitcase on the floor. The bathroom was even tinier and if you are over 6’ - you will be hunched...

"Property was a little far from public transportation, about 12 minutes walk from the closest bus station and the road had no sidewalk, making it a little hazardous. Wooden floors were squeaky but the hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. 5 stars to the staff."

"Overall a nice place to stay. The ceilings are very low and rooms are quite basic. The beds were not particularly comfortable. But the restaurant was great and it was a fun place to get a drink. The town itself is very quite and there is nothing really to do except hang out at the restaurant/bar. "

"The most joyful station in my trip all over Europe. Every spot is beautiful, the region, the landscape, the lovely people, the hotel and it’s classical nature made it more attractive. It’s like the films. The manager is lovely and so helpful, so are all other staff members. Although my check-in was delayed until 4:00 pm but That’s nothing. I would come again. Strongly recommended "

"Very nice hotel, helpful staff, dog friendly, good location, facilities in village and great views, (+ easy access off autoroute). Breakfast & evening meal very good. Room good size. Lift access. Can't fault this hotel. So is there a negative? Only one, the chirch nearby has a clock thst chimes the hours and the quarters if that's not enough it also rings all the bells at 05.00! So if you are a light sleeper and like to sleep with the window open a bit, just bear this in mind"

"An issue with the fire alarms going off when people cooked, but had recently updated system installed, so working out the glitches? And washer/dryers took long time-but owner was helpful and tried to go above and beyond with both issues. "
