“Was not provided with an access code. When I managed to contact the property manager they claimed no personal information was forwarded to them, ie; phone number or email from Expedia. I had to enlist the help of a nearby business to contact them 3 hours after the check in time. If Expedia doesn’t forward details why would you continue to use them as booking agents. Property was close enough to train station and quite location, front door was often not secured from the street ”

“First, you can't check in till 5pm. Second, the shower is small and slippery when wet. When I mentioned that I'd nearly fallen twice and it needed a non-slip mat, I was told can't be done as this would be an admission that there is a problem. Plus, the light in the bathroom is on a motion sensor timer and kept cutting out leaving me in the shower, in the dark. “The Royal Oak is outstanding in every respect. If you're staying a night, its facilities are unusually generous and extensive; if you're eating, the menu and the food are great; and if you just want a drink, there's a bar area and plenty of seating outside. The staff are lovely. Plus there's plenty of local information, books, games and events, not to mention a farm shop. If you can tear yourself away, visit Wayland's Smithy a couple of miles away along the Ridgeway.”

“Lovely bright and airy 2 bed apartment with balcony. Great location opposite the park with a few minute walk into Gloucester centre and quays. Very clean with good amenities apart from lacking a dishwasher .. which on this occasion was not a problem for us as we only stayed 2 nights and eat out. Easy parking in property’s own car park. Did ask about parking for an extra car but wasn’t too happy about the location or tidiness of this as looked run down with rubbish and nails etc on the ground...
