“Ac was very weak, rooms were very hot, one bedroom didn’t have ceiling fan, internet didn’t work which meant TV didn’t work.”

“The shower and bathroom were not cleaned prior to our arrival. The staff took care of it after I called and let them know unfortunately after I was in the shower. Housekeeping came right away to clean the whole room.”

The host greeted us warmly and gave us some great advice about dining options. The room was lovely. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet and well maintained. We will return. I would highly recommend the Meredith Inn.”

The beach just across the street is very accommodating with plenty 9f swim and boat gear. Great firepits for the campers to hang around and made good friends. The cabins are great but could use some updating and a little more cooking staples. Newer owners will probably remedy as they are always looking to improve.”

“Staying at Lakeview House is like stepping back into the Victorian era, but with all the modern conveniences. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully appointed. If you’re a solo traveler or couple I highly recommend staying in one of the rooms at the front of the house (mine was room 9) - you can lay on the bed and look right out at Lake Winnipesaukee and the Ossippee mountains.”

“This is one of the last "Authentic NH Cabins" experiences in existence. Stayed with the family and brought a classic car. This is the perfect launch / hub / stopover for classic car meets, since your car will not be super close to other cars. This is how my grandparents summered in NH, tiny wooden cabins with paperback books and rocking chairs, a warm fire, and slept like a baby. Wonderful staff, too!”
