"What a pleasant surprise!! We were trying to save money and willing to sacrifice a little quality. We saved the money but we didn’t have to sacrifice quality at all. This place was fantastic! Whoever did the remodel on this gem really knew what they were doing. It’s gorgeous. It was the first night of a two week road trip and what a great start. I hope the rest of our rooms, as we travel up the west coast come close."

"the owner is the nicest guy ever, we talked for a bit at check in, the next morning I discovered I had left my cell phone in the room, he texted it when he found it. Very friendly and nice man. the room was basic, furniture a bit worn. very powerful but somewhat noisy a/c unit. On a busy street so try to get a downstairs room with building blockage to buffer the noise. good value for the location"

"I liked the size of the room. Plenty of room for two queen beds. I didn’t like that there are zero amenities. I miss the restaurant that used to be on property. It was good dood and so convenient. "
