"My family and I enjoyed the decor of the Base Hotel. The staff went above and beyond when we needed a cab back on Sunday evening and the cab company was not responding. They were also responsive to our needs prior to and during our stay. The hotel can improve on informing you from the start that the items in the mini fridge are not included in the price. "We stayed for 1 night. The room was dated. Air conditioner was broken. Lights were flickering in the bedroom and bathroom. Shower head loose and flimsy. We were charged for toiletries. Couldn't sleep all night as it was too hot and the noise from traffice kept us awake. I have stayed here before but this time the standard has let us down . Reception staff offered a room change at 11pm but it was too late fors us to packup everything and move False advertisement of claiming that rooms...

"The hype on this place is mainly because of the beautyness of the villa, the park and maybe the friendlyness the front desk and waitresses. Your rooms will be in the new annex with excellent beds (matress). Bathrooms are in really worn condition. AC seems to be from 1990 (has problems to make cold if outside is 40°C and mould!!) I've seen better value for ca.100€/night rooms. Breakfast usual italian fair, fresh cornetto would be nice than the industry chocolate warm-ups. Don't misunderstand:...
