โVery welcoming when we arrived. Flowers put into our room I had delivered along with some treats from hotel for our anniversary. Our evening meal was the best we had for awhile. No faults throughout our whole weekend โ
โReally nice, spacious rooms. We stayed with our 2 small children and there was enough room for all of us.
The location is perfect - very central but on a quiet street. The best feature of the hotel is the garden seating. Eating outside there is very special indeed.
My only complaint is the charge of 15 pound for parking! I've never stayed at a hotel before and been charged for parking. And when I was shocked at the cost the receptionist rolled her eyes at me, as though I was the one being...
โHave stayed here many times because we love the area. Bathroom is needing an upgrade, dirty and curtains are shabby. Beds are clean and comfortable, hot drink facilities are good and excellent access to Costa and McDonaldโs.โ

โArrived slightly earlier than check in and was told the room was not ready but to help ourselves to tea and coffee. Greeted by Mateus....very very very helpful and friendly, credit goes to Mateus.
There is no air con at the hotel and the lift was broken at the time, we were lucky only staying on the first floor. That is the only negative to this review.

โLarge, very clean room. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with great shower. Nice toilet products to use. Plentiful, tea, coffee and biscuits provided as well as a small fridge with bottled water.
Attractive restaurant with a good range of menu options. Ate there 2 nights and the food was very good. Some excellent desserts too!
Breakfast was also very good and flexible options.
All of the staff were very polite, helpful and always happy to offer advice on local area. Their breakfast...
