Very neat and clean house. Lots of unique art in the house. Great breakfast with many choices. Only 1 mile from hospital if you need a overnight room. Highly recommended and cheaper than the area hotels.

I stayed during the holidays with my son. The house is cozy, clean, and peaceful. There were plenty of options for breakfast, including healthy options, and some quick grab and go options. The owner is friendly and very helpful. He also has lots of information about things to do in the area as well as different artwork and mementos around the house that represent Akron. I am an Akron native and I will definitely be back to stay here again!

Wonderful B&B!

Louie’s B&B is wonderful place to stay. We needed a clean, safe place to spend the night during a quick trip to Akron and we are glad that we found this B&B. The place is clean and tidy. I would stay there again! Thank you!

Attentive and Friendly Hospitality

Louie's property is a wonderful place to spend a night or two when in the Akron area. He is extremely proactive with communication to see to the needs of his guests and has stocked the common areas of the house with items for use or purchase. The rooms are spotless, and Louie is extremely polite and informative with suggestions on dining and sightseeing. You can tell he takes pride in his business, and he should!

Excellent stay.

It was a great stay. Louie is a great host and a great person and he runs a nice bed and breakfast. Everything is clean and organized. The only downside is that we are cyclers and it is about 2 miles off the trail, and mostly uphill.

Clean, Quiet, Comfy Place to Stay in Central Akron

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Berrodin Bed & Breakfast in Akron, Ohio, and it truly exceeded expectations. Centrally located, it's the perfect base for exploring local events, cultural spots, and everything Akron has to offer. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and our room was clean, peaceful and quiet, especially at night. We appreciated the updated amenities and all the thoughtful touches, like individual toiletry baskets in the shared bathroom and an active Netflix account to use in our room, making everything easy and convenient. Breakfast was fresh and well-stocked each morning, with plenty of options: yogurts, granola, fruit, oatmeal, breakfast bars, hard-boiled eggs, coffee, tea, and more; just what we needed to start the day. Parking was easy, either in the driveway or right out front. There's also a wealth of local info available, and Louis, the friendly host, is a fantastic resource. He's full of recommendations and stories, always happy to help you shape a day that fits your interests. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re visiting family in Akron. Highly recommended!

The host was fantastic, and the house is amazing. We felt completely at home, and he anticipated our needs before we even had any! The home was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do over our weekend. Plus he gave us some great ideas for vegan places to eat and ideas for date nights. We are already planning another visit to try all the places he suggested that we didn't get a chance to try on this visit. We were anxious about staying in someone's home, but it was actually so much better than a hotel. This will be our go to place to stay whenever we visit Akron in the future!

Unforgettable experience.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Louie and his amazing property. The cleanliness was immaculate. The amenities impeccable. Bedding, towels, toiletries, snacks- all top level. The coolest coffee machine I’ve ever used. Excellent furnishings and an overall super comforting vibe. Louie is an extremely welcoming and helpful host. He was able to provide me with tips for my short stay in Akron that I know made a huge difference to my time there. I absolutely would stay here again and in fact am considering a future trip to Akron in part due to my experience here. Thanks Louie!

I would choose to stay here again if we're coming through Akron. Our host was very friendly, and made a great effort to show us around the place. We spent some time chatting with him about Akron and the neighborhood, and he gave us a great recommendation for dinner right around the corner. Plus, there's an old fashioned Ice Cream Parlor right there by the restaurant, always a win in my book! One of the things I liked most is that here is a guy making a living running a small business, and clearly taking care of his property and his customers, and promoting the great things about his city. We need more people like him, people who don't bail out to the suburbs, or who are part of national conglomerates that take your money out of the local economy. He is part of the revitalization of Akron, doing what needs to be done like in any city in America. I'm happy we got to spend a night in his charming and personable B&B. Thanks!
