“The hotel smelled of humidity. The TV in the room didn't work. I went to change the remote control 4 times. Finally, I asked them to test it in the room to see if it worked. They put the remote control down and left. I went upstairs and the TV still didn't work. Since I can't sleep without a TV, it was important to me. The hotel is definitely not worth the price they are asking. And they are especially asking for extra parking from the customers who have already stayed”

“I loved the Village feel, proper little pub with loads of character. Staff were were friendly from the time I booked in. Breakfast was amazing and tasty. My room was cosy very quiet had the best night sleep in a long time bed very comfy.”

“The stay was okay, but when checking out we had an incident where when returned a few minutes after checkout our key cards were no longer which was to be expected. So we went to front desk to ask for the keys to be enabled so we could get our luggage and bags. When we were told that they had no record of us being there and the room was showing as empty. “Nice hotel”

“We stayed one night and the experience was outstanding. The rooms were very quiet and the shower was amazing. I could hardly fault anything. Maybe a bit of air conditioning in the rooms would be good during the hot days but they supplied fans to help. I would definitely use this hotel again as they are amazing and provide a great service in all respects.”

“Shame the restaurant was closed but the pizza filled a hole. Room excellent, staff welcoming and polite and a well stocked bar. ”

“Clean room, friendly staff, pleasant bar, terrace and breakfast area. I prefer a cup/mug for my tea or coffee, and both days these were sparse, although takeaway cups were available.”

“The staff were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of it. We didn't get chance to use the pool so can't comment on those facilities but what we could see from the window looked good. There was air conditioning in the restaurant but not in our room so that made the room quite hot and stuffy even with the window open. However, there was a fan in the room and that did help a little. “The staff were very friendly and the location was great! We visited during an extreme heat wave and unfortunately it was uncomfortable sleeping. The staff provided a room fan when we requested, but unfortunately the 2nd floor was an oven. This is no fault of the staff or property, it was just an anomaly of the weather.”

“Excellent Breakfast. Unfortunately the extraction fan in the bathroom made a high pitched whistling which was audible even with the door closed. Apparently we were told that it was not possible to turn this off.”
