“The location was great. Within a long walk to the downtown shops. The room was ok, recently updated but had some quirks. Dor example the doors only had one bathroom-style lock. No secondary locks or chains usually found on all other hotel doors. It also lacked a peep hole to see who was at the door. Kinda strange from my experience but might be worrisome to a solo or woman traveller. No deductions forbthat but just wanted to note it. My only con were the inflated prices. It calls itself...

“Booked three king rooms, we received 2 and the third was two queens. Shpuld have addresed this but didnt think it was the end of the world. The queen room had a broken bathroom shelf with the rods sitting on the floor and a chunk missing from the floor that was noticed after scratching a foot on it. The bed was comfortable and room was clean. While playing cards in the lobby we overheard a guest checking in who then came back as they were given someone else's room and from the description it...

“The cottage looks nice in photos and they do keep it as clean as they can; however, it is very rundown. We were bothered by the strong smell of fabric softener (gives us migraines) and mildew. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom narrow and dark, and overall, we just had “the creeps” the whole time. So much so that we left early. Honestly, we expected more for the price. You can find better options in the area for what we paid.”
