"The Vine Inn is in a great location (right in downtown Davis, easy walk to coffee, food and UCD). They have close, easy parking and quick, friendly check-in and check-out. The room was spacious and clean with comfy beds. The water pressure in the shower was amazing! It was somewhat noisy, but not terrible. My only request would be eco-friendly shampoo / conditioner / body wash instead of the little bottles (which were REALLY hard to squeeze). We like that they have eco-friendly toilets. "

"Harry at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and all facilities and furniture were in great condition. This hotel is well maintained and appears to have been completely renovated fairly recently. This is a great pick at this price point. I'll definitely add it to my preferred list for this area."

"Expensive for what and where it is but clean, nice. The staff goes on auto pilot and doesn’t “Listen” to the customer from the front desk to the cleaning staff. They would save us both time if they slowed down listed and comprehended what people tell them. It’s simply not caring"

"Great customer service at checkin. Convenient location if this is a stop on a longer trip. Close to gas stations and dining options. There is also a Walmart down the street if there is a sudden need to buy something you left at home. There’s even an Amazon locker immediately next door. Carpet and furniture is dated / need for renovation but still decent. Could easily hear noise from room next door though - voices and tv noise. And the occasional semi truck horn or sound of big vehicles passing since close to freeway."
