The location on the waterfront with a private balcony overlooking the marina makes it worth staying here. The facility was clean and breakfast had good options along with the marina view from the breakfast room. I was a little concerned when we first arrived because of the exterior building condition (worn exterior doors badly painted, exterior paint in fair condition, a couple of tears in the carpet (even though it appeared to not be very old) and interior wall paint needs touch-up in places. However, they appear to be refurbishing the end of the wing we were in, so hopefully that means they are working their way down the wing. All in all, we had a good stay and would stay there again.

We've stayed here over the years. This last time we were put in a room next to the laundry room. When the dryer was on (per the front desk), it shook the floor where are table was in front of the sliding glass door. Like earthquake shake. It was a rainy day (not anything earth shattering as we have been in Astoria before when it has rained so hard sideways you can barely stand up) and the Internet and TV was very intermittent. We tried to make a laugh of it and would tell each other every few minutes when it would stop --- Oh! Another Intermission! The part I didn't like was when I talked to front desk 1st time about internet/TV I was told if it continued to call back in 10 mins & tell her, and they'd contact the ISP. I called back in 10 mins & was told by someone else, that wasn't true. The ISP was supposed to be coming to booster the internet some day but not sure when, so NO the ISP would not be called--because it was raining, when it let up the TV would work. I hate being lied to. Bed memory foam; was okay. The breakfast was okay. Nice view just seems to need upkeep and definitely something done about ISP. And TV remote very complicated but service never worked right anyway. Oh, front desk said further away your room is from front desk, the worse the internet/TV service is FYI everyone.

Its ok but for 200 bucks kind of over priced for sure. Like a super 8 or motel 6. View was not that great i mean if you want to stare at boats in a marina its fine. Probably wont stay there again. Dated is a good term to describe this place.

When I saw the exterior, I did not stay there. It looked like a hangout for drug addicts and prostitutes from the outside. It was the sexiest looking hotel I have ever seen. Maybe if I stayed there I would have liked it, but I seriously doubt it, judging from the exterior.

The property is old and tired. The owners have worked hard to perk it up, but it's kind sad. HOWEVER The Harbor and bridge views are terrific, especially from the rooms with the wraparound 153 and 253. They make any shortcomings insignificant.

This is a great little Price right on the water where you can watch the boats and ships go up and down the Columbia, and it’s near all the things you might want to walk to to enjoy the area! And the staff was so welcoming!

The hotel with bayviews is nice and the Astoria trolley that comes by the hotel can take you into town along the riverfront. The staff were all very helpful

Beautiful view of the sunrise over the Columbia River, mountains and marina! Nice deck with chairs and table to sit at and enjoy the sites! Great water pressure in shower! Good coffee maker and WiFi. Bed was comfy too! We asked for late check out. The give you another half hour making it at 11:30am or for $25.00 you can stay till 1:00pm! Perfect for remote workers!

Great hotel overlooking the marina really enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was plentiful and yummy plus they carried my favorite souvenir of my whole trip which was this yogurt that was best i have ever had lol 10 /10 would recomend

The location is cool & we anticipated it being in a busy area so that wasn’t a problem, staff at check in was nice. The hotel its self was not quite as described. The newer refurbished room was not as described. The heat on the electric fireplace wasn’t working & plugged into a power strip cord. The light on the ceiling wasn’t screwed in all the way, the wall had a hole in it, rug/room smelled a bit musty. The bathroom was okay, tub looked new/ clean but everything else looked like it was there a while. Bedding & sheets were clean on the bed. Walls were very thin, woke up to people in the room next to us talking and closing doors etc later at night. The balcony was nice but too cold to sit out at the time of our stay. Wouldn’t recommend for the price we paid.

The view from my room definitely made it all worthwhile. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast spread. The outside of the building doesn't look like much which is misleading. My biggest complaint is that some aspects of my room felt and worn down, like my mattress.

very nice view, we had a handful of technical issues with our room, we had to get key card several times due to them de magnetizing, our fire alarm would chirp occasionally even though we swapped the batteries multiple times, and our shower head was veryyy loose and leaked quite a bit of water. All in all, wasn’t the worst stay I’ve ever had, but probably won’t stay there again

We really enjoy our stays at Riverwalk Inn. We were a little disappointed this visit because our room had a entry door that wouldn't close properly. It definitely needed repairing. Other than that we had a good stay and lookf forward to our next visit.

The ad said dog friendly but said nothing about an extra fee to be applied. It was a bummer to start a quick overnight trip like this.

Hi Darrell. It actually does state in every confirmation sent to our guests that we do have a pet fee of 15 per pet per night. As well as we make you fill out a reservation form and a pet form that both state we have a 15 pet fee. We also noticed you have stayed with us a couple times before and in every reservation form you have filled out it states this same information, but I'm sorry you felt this standard fee most hotels have was a bummer to your overnight trip.
