Other clients arrived stating they had received an email from owner with code entrance and room number. We did not! Une fois arrivé au Mercure 4*… Télévision qui ne fonctionne pas, plus de place sur le parking à 20:30, pas de gel douche dans la SDB… pour un surclassement en 4 étoiles… c’est limite… très limite. "Our experience at Demeure Flore was exceptional and one of a kind. Fracesco welcomed us warmly and made us the best meal of our trip which we enjoyed in his lovely garden nestled in the French countryside. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean and it was like finding an oasis after a few long days of travel. The only sad thing was we were only able to stay one night. We hope to return some day. "Staff went above and beyond! We received room upgrade due to confusion upon arrival via taxi area/parking lot--weather was super hot and mixed up and stressful arrival due to language barrier/misunderstanding. The staff was very kind and helpful. Also, after check out I had left a very important document in the safe and staff eased my anxiety --going above and beyond again and even walked me very quickly back to the parking lot to meet taxi who was waiting as I was catching a train and crazy time constraints and navigating the alleys and directions while under stress was overwhelming--again staff was AMAZING!!!Such a great stay and the pizza around the corner rec was spot on! Loved our stay!"

"Fantastic hotel right in the heart of Carcassonne. Family room was fabulous - clean and spacious, with a great view overlooking the street outside. The owners were welcoming and friendly, letting us leave our baggage and offering advice on the local area. Lovely breakfast with a beautiful courtyard outside. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough, thank you for a wonderful stay."

"The room we stayed in was well appointed with a comfortable bed and a powerful air conditioning unit. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful in helping us navigate around. The hotel is in a great spot very close to the citadel, there is also a new laundromat on the same block. We only wish we had allowed ourselves more time here."

Overall I would never rated this hotel as a luxury 5 stars"

Smart TV in the room but I was told by a member of staff these were unable to be connected to the internet so I was unable to use any of the smart features which was disappointing."
