"I suppose I'll start with the good before the bad. The property, outside of the rooms is beautiful and really amazing. The birds residents and deer were adorable. The pool and spa areas are beautiful. There is also a cool, beach club area just for hotel guests. This is a classic Cartagena property in a prime location. Now the bad. Imagine my shock at the condition of the rooms and guest towers. The views from the towers should be epic. Except all of the windows are filthy. The rooms are small. The bathrooms are terrible and there was a lack of hot water. Many guests were complaining about the hot water. The mini bar and snacks in the room were a joke. The entire management team should be fired starting with the general manager. The service team was excellent! They are just working with what they have and to the level that they are being led.
This is NOT a 5 star property. If not for the beautiful and classic design outside of the rooms, it would be a 3 star property.
EXPEDIA! Shame on you for listing this as a 5 star hotel on your site. Send someone from your team to check out this hotel and get it right. I'll never stay here again. Maybe buy the day pass for their pools and beach club, but stay somewhere else!"
