“Clean room, price, location,”

“The room keys seem to get demagnetized very easily and multiple people were locked out of the back building through out the stay. Our room had a faint but undeniable scent of cigarette smoke, the hotel was at full capacity and we couldn’t change rooms. The staff promptly brought up a room spray that removed the smell. Our room was clean, the jacuzzi tub looked dated but well maintained. Our refrigerator did have food and alcohol left from the guest before us, so cleaning staff should check that...

“When I got to the address listed in this booking it was an abandoned Days Inn with no people in site. There was zero signage indicating I was in the right place and it felt unsafe and super sketchy. I did not stay here and will be using my travel insurance for false advertising/the motel not apparently existing as advertised”

“The staff was friendly and property was clean but our room smelled like urine really bad. I possibly would stay in a smaller room in future but the big room with kitchenette was very smelly of strong urine. The staff were nice though.”

“We needed a room for the night due to storms in area and we were on bike visiting for bike week so we took what was convenient. The shower was hot, the bed was comfortable and clean, could have used another pillow but I was able to get an extra towel and a rag to wipe the seats off. Staff was very nice!”

“The bed is comfortable and our room was very nice. The only complaint I have was that breakfast is only available until 9:00 and the coffee is not good. We went to the close by Gathering House coffee shop for good coffee and a light breakfast.”

“Where do I begin? The bathrooms in the lobby was locked with a lock on both. The manager had to unlock the restroom and told me what stall to use because the others were broken. The room was not as advertised on the page. The air conditioner was not keeping the room cool, the toilet in the room was leaking water from the tank when it was flushed, The WiFi was not working when trying to connect the tv to it we could not use the tv, housekeeping was not available 24hrs, we asked for more towels...

“This motel was improperly maintained. The room was dirty with remnants of many past guests. The towels were multi stained and the bed linens the same. I would never stay at this motel ever again.”

“The hotel is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the lake, the rooms and all public areas are pristine and clean, & the staff were absolutely amazing. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant, as it's quite overpriced, the menu is quite performative, and the food wasn't that great for the price paid. It is also very small & loud if the patio is not open. That said, it did not deter from how amazing the hotel is. Just find somewhere else to eat during your stay.”

“Weird self-check-in arrangement--no reception desk or staff, just an e-mail with a code to let yourself in & out and a phone number in case you need anything--very impersonal, but o.k. if you don't like dealing with people. Fresh, tidy, and trendy inside. Bedside reading lights and a chair to sit on would be nice (stools at the counter are too high for tying shoes), as would a light outside the door that doesn't attract bugs. Bed seemed short and sheets were crinkly and starchy. Adequate...

“Breakfast was good however there is no where to eat so be prepared to carry it back to your room. Otherwise the rooms were updated and clean. TV small but good selection of channels. Bathroom and shower very good. Lots of clean towels. Will come back and recommend for anyone looking for a no fuss motel.”
