"Location is the best! The umbrella and chair service on the beach is worth everything. In Hawaii, you can pay up to $25/day just for a chair at many resorts. Love The Shires Restaurant."

"It was a very nice place to stay for a couple of days. Very close to lots to do. You can catch an Uber or drive because it was central to lots of things. I would recommend this place. One downfall is having to pay for parking. That is my only complaint and wish I had seen that but because I reserved through Hotels.com I didn't know. Up the cost of the rom a little and make parking part of the room cost. It's easier to eat that then the latter"

"The rooms were basic rooms they fit the purpose, the showers are nice, location is close to where we wanted to be the rooms are extremely quiet which was amazing because long days at the beach with a quiet night to rest was just what we needed the pool was cold but the kids enjoyed it. There is no smoking near the building on the balconys so it was nice with the kids the rooms had no foul smell overall I would stay again the price is right and everything was great. It's an older building however for us it was great"

"We originally booked a Hyatt Indian Wells in Palm Desert, but the temperature that weekend was expected to reach 118 degrees. Hyatt was incredibly understanding and waived the cancellation fee, allowing us to celebrate our anniversary at Hyatt Mission Bay instead. It turned out to be the best decision we could have made. From the valet service and upgraded room to kayaking on the bay and breakfast, the entire experience was wonderful. Two staff members made a lasting impression, although I unfortunately forgot their names. One gentleman, whose desk was near the ATM, brought us water while we waited in line. He helped us plan our day, suggested Belmont Park, and recommended routes for rollerblading with our kids. The lady who checked us in was also amazing. I remember her mentioning that her daughter’s name was Gracie. She connected with us genuinely and made our anniversary feel truly special. What could have been a disappointing change of plans became an unforgettable family experience. This was the best service I have ever received from a hotel staff. We will absolutely return!"
