"Things we experienced: Could not sleep well because of itching on bed Could not sleep easily because of outside noise of cars passing Carpet flooring of hall and rooms not as maintained, may need replacing When we first entered the room the air smell was stale as if the room has not been aired out so may need to air out room air Parking at $25 on property was a bit high Overall it was just ok"

"Good location. Easy walking distance to the Transit Center, all trains, and free San Diego airport shuttle. The property is older, but the staff are wonderful, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed our brief stay."

"It’s 5 starts for the price. There are premium hotels around it for double the cost. Rooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom has everything you need and was clean. I didn’t use the pool but it’s big and looked good. SD weather didn’t allow it. Breakfast wasn’t included but there’s a restaurant there and the coffee was good and the breakfast was excellent. Good Mexican breakfast! If I had the stay in the area again, I’d pay half price again to stay with Kings"
