"The room was very clean and comfortable, parking was ample, and staff friendly. They had free breakfast with bagels, toast, eggs, turkey sausage ,etc. The location is central to everything in San Diego, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. "

"Spacious, clean, comfortable We got upgraded to a king suite because they had run out of regular king rooms. We didn't get to use the pool as it was pouring rain. This is a nice convenient hotel, and the staff is friendly"

"It’s a nice place to spend the night. Room is clean and amenities are great. The only thing I hope they improve on was to have more than 1 staff on the front desk? I tried calling the receptionist twice but no answer so I decided to go into the lobby and found out the receptionist was helping another customer and was away from the desk. She did great but if they have 2 people at the desk if one is occupied there’s another person to assist others. "

"Very nice 3 level hotel. No elevator. Parking is included for 1 vehicle. Room was clean and fairly well maintained. The Zoo and other attractions are an easy 20 minute drive. On Wednesday evening there is a Farmers Market on Newport, lots of good fun, food, and crafts. "

"So, the stay started off super rocky. The system, for what I was told, the power grid in the city went out and we weren't able to get key card for the evening which required the security guard to get us in the parking area and our room. OK, no big deal. We got in and I figured we'd get our card in the morning and awesome. THEN, the TV went out literally. So I called and they said they would fix it. They claimed they fixed but nope. I asked them to fix it again and they weren't able to do so which is when they asked to have my family move to another room? I said, unless it's an upgrade, I want a full refund. They gave us a good suite, didn't charge for the parking, and the rest of our stay was worthwhile and very relaxing. Thank you to those at The Dana! The food was excellent and the staff was very understanding and accomodating."
