โPitlochry is a quaint little town, and this hotel is 150 years old. Amazing little property, very clean and uniquely fits the vibe of the town. The staff members are helpful and everything is a short walk away. Highly recommended.โ
โWe stayed at this charming hotel July 15-18 and were so pleased that we picked this property in Pitlochry. Perched on a hill, the hotel is a lovely 19th century stone building and the interior is impeccably maintained and spotlessly clean. We had a premium room and were amazed by the size and beautiful views over Pitlochry.
Our first night we decided ahead of time to dine at the hotel and it was absolutely wonderful. From the canapรฉs and drink in the lounge to the last bite of dessert it was...
โWe arrived at this beautiful, central, charming hotel and were treated like gold. The staff were all kind and welcoming. The food was excellent and our room was lovely. We will go back. โ
โhidden gem; easy walk down to adorable town, gorgeous old renovated mansion with high quality interior spaces...and lots of different common rooms to enjoy. Croquet on the lawn was idyllic. welcome drink in beautiful garden room or outdoor patio. 5 star accommodations for this boutique beauty!โ
โThis was by Far our favorite stop on our two week journey around UK . Staff made every effort to insure our stay was perfect . We will refer this hotel to anyone that travels to Scotland โ
โVery friendly and helpful staff. Really nice hotel grounds, close enough to walk into the village, but far enough to be quiet and tranquil in the evenings.โ
โโI stayed at the Atholl Palace Hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, I was disappointed with several aspects. The water pressure in the bathroom was weak, making it uncomfortable to shower. The bed and other facilities were quite uncomfortable as well. There was no concierge service, which I found inconvenient. Apart from the nice views and the historical charm of staying near the castle, I didnโt find much value in the experience.โโ
โThe property was nice and close to town with lots of shop and places to eat. The room was very warm and the windows didnโt open up very far so was quite stuffy for sleeping in, but everything else was good. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were friendlyโ
โFantastic stay at Scotland spa hotel plenty food drink places within 5 min walk staff all lovely stayed before and def be back lovely pool and jacuzzie to relax in also would def recommend ๐โ
โOnce over the threshold, it is both welcoming & engaging.
There is a real โ personal โ touch & the owners are so โ hands onโ& this care filters down through all their Staff.
Alas, the weather was not in our favour, but the sun always shines inside the โ Inn on the Tayโ!
will definitely revisit & highly recommend.
Thanks for a lovely experience!
Mark & Kirsten.โ
