The property needs an update. The carpets are in need or replacement as well as the tv's. It would be nice to have smart tv's in this modern time. As usual the staff and food were both excellent.

The hotel is a less than a 5 minute walk from the bus/train station. The receptionist was very helpful ( able to leave luggage for 2 days while we went on a train excursion). The upper corner room was spacious and clean. Water pressure was great. We were given breakfast treats in a bag to go, we checked out very early. A pleasant surprise.

A bit chaotic stay
I stayed here with my son for 3 nights in separate rooms. Location: easy to access, but right next to the bus station with a busy traffic. The windows/ curtains are engulfing some of the noise, but if you need a good night sleep - you might ask for a quieter room in the hotel. Lobby and check-in was great, a bit slow as they have a new booking system and the database did not work well. Rooms: clean, comfortable beds but the furniture was wore down and the bathroom's door couldn't be closed, the ceilings / some panels were unstable and moving during the heating. My son could't sleep and had to fix the panels with his bag to stop the noise. Breakfast: really amazing, you could eat something with any special diet, very huge variety, fresh every day. The only thing that made us disappointed was a miscommunication about breakfast time: we were leaving the hotel on a Sunday morning and were hoping to get two sandwiches before we leave. I went to the reception on Saturday morning to request this and they said: breakfast tomorrow starts at 6:30 am. I was a bit uncertain and we asked it again in the evening and we got the same 6:30 breakfast. I was just hoping to have a quick bite before out trip BUT - the restaurant was closed - a kind woman was setting up the food at 6:45 but she said that they open at 7:30 ( this was on the elevators info as well) and she really couldn't give anything for us - saying that there is nothing ready. We left hungry and a bit sad after all.

Svært lite tilfredsstillende service ved ankomst. Ved innsjekk spurte resepsjonisten, etter 20 sek søk på sin datamaskin, om jeg var sikker på at jeg var på rett hotell. Stille i sentrum
Kjekkt å få rom inn mot bygården eller "inne". Stille og fredelig tross hovedvei like ved. Sov som ein stein. For meg var det litt tynne dyner men tok begge. Badet hadde endelig dusjvegger og ikkje badekar og gulvvarme som fort tørka golvet. Forhåpentligvis forsynt via fjernvarme men såg ingen skilt om det. Frukosten var bra men leita ein del rundt for å finne alt. Ja og typisk når en sit aleine og skal hente meir så kjem det folk og rydder. Sjølv om eg la att pilleesken min. Men var heldig og fekk samme plassen. Kanskje det finnes eit symbol for det som eg ikkje kan. VELDIG kort vei til Bygarasjen var viktig for meg.
