“한국분이라면 절대 가지마세요 몇 달 전부터 예약했던 곳이라 안심했는데, 당일 아침에 확인 메일 한 번 보내고 당일 점심시간까지 답장 못했다고 일방적으로 취소당했습니다 여행중에 인터넷이 안되어 메일을 확인하지 못했던건데, 이런사실을 알지 못하고 숙소에 갔더니 문은 잠겨있고 아무도 없어서 두 시간이나허비하고 결국 급히 다른 숙소를 잡았어요 그리고 동네가 넘 우중충합니다 사진이 이뻐서 예약했는데 낚인것 같네요ㅠ”

“Located on a quiet yard, this is Avery nicely run property. It’s all self check-in. The room is spacious and the bathroom is large with a jacuzzi tub. The breakfast area is stocked with yogurt, cereal, blue berry, bagel, mini muffin, coffee and hot water and milk.”

“We had just one night, but felt it to be a true homebase for a visit. First, of note, was the very (!) comfortable bed , thoughtful amenities --including a TV with streaming subscriptions all loaded. along with added space to settle in the sitting room which had a fridge and freezer. The centrality of this charming historic property --within easy walking distance of sites, restaurants, book store and shops--was of importance to us. We felt free to use it as a base to explore the city of Kingston...

“The staff was great and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The decor was outdated but comfortable. I felt like I was staying in my childhood home. It felt more like a Bed and Breakfast. So I liked it and would definitely stay there again when I am in the area. It's a plus that the rooms have air conditioning and private bathrooms!! Beautiful area too, by the lake.”

“This is a gem of an overnight, a beautiful old inn on grounds fronting Lake Champlain in a grove of ancient white cedars. It lies in a very rural area but in its own right is an elegant place with spacious rooms. There is a golf course very nearby. If you are needing a quiet, refreshing break on the way north towards Canada in upstate New York, this is a great choice.”

“The room was large, comfortable and clean. This is a unique historic property and has been restored/maintained to the original condition, so don’t expect a Holiday Inn, but the rooms have all the modern conveniences. My bathroom was completely modern and most importantly, clean. I was there mostly at night and it seemed I had the whole place to myself, which was a little spooky, but there are many historical exhibits to explore that are open to explore even at night. A very unique experience...
