"We had a great 6-night stay at the Waterloo. The room was nice and clean, with a large window overlooking the greenery that could be opened wide for fresh air. The beds were comfortable, and we really liked the breakfast, especially the items made to order. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was a very good location for exploring Snowdonia, and it was nice to come back to a quiet and comfortable hotel after a day out. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again."

"Highly recommended. Well-equipped room. Spotlessly clean. Only (very) minor drawback was the narrow staircase to the second floor. Staff members were super helpful - I only regret not sampling the Welsh traditional breakfast!! Hotel is in a great location with a short walk to in-town facilities (shops, restaurants & bars). And plenty of parking on the quiet access road in front of the hotel."

"This is a fabulous place to stay right by Swallow falls. The rooms were very spacious, bed huge, shower amazing and set at perfect temperature. Also you don't often get conditioner in the shower/bathroom, I did here which made a nice change, I usually have to take my own. The food was very reasonably priced and delicious with a good choice on the menu. Staff very friendly, special shout out to Zoe who made us feel very welcome when we got there and throughout the stay. Lovely decor on the inside like an old coach house, would highly recommend staying here"

"Very nice spot to set up your base while exploring north wales. As a word of caution: its very convenient location to the bus and train service is a huge plus, but the actual train and bus service in this region is quite unreliable. I was able to make due but there were a few times I had to wait upwards of 2-3 hours for trains to return back to betwy y coed after a long hike so you may want to consider renting a car if you're exploring many parts of the region, but it is still very accessible via public transit if that is your only option. The hotels food was actually very good and balanced and I always looked forward to eating there for a reasonable price after a long day"

"We had a wonderful visit in Betsw-y-coed and thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Elena and Paul are amazing hosts. Breakfast fueled us perfectly for long excursions into the beautiful hikes around the town. Our hosts suggested several hikes and swimming spots and they did not disappoint. The room was lovely, plenty of room and a comfortable bed. Highly recommend!!!"

Housekeeping only available by request from nearby Indian restaurant. Guests have access to dining room with fridge and also outside terrace. Central position in Betws y coed. Would stay there again without hesitation."
