“It is a very pretty property. The view of the water and boats was especially nice. We enjoyed watching the deer and the birds in the back while we drank coffee on the porch. The location was excellent for getting to the ferry to go to Friday Harbor. I would definitely recommend Ship Harbor Inn.”

“There are some pro’s and cons… the cons being that our bathroom was dirty. The corner by the tub was visibly full of dirt and I used a towel to clean it off. They didn’t even open for breakfast on one of the days staff didn’t show up till close to 10 AM. And the next day when we did get to have breakfast, it was very meager. The apples were soft and wrinkly. There really wasn’t much for breakfast besides some hard boiled eggs, toast, bagels cold instant oatmeal packages and some cereal. They...

“Aside from interstate traffic noise, this location was great. Helpful and informative staff.”

“I got spider bites while sleeping. I left my pillow there and had to call back several times to have someone tell me if they still had it. I did however, get my pillow back. Front desk staff was personable and kind. Like most hotels there is a big disconnect in communication between front desk and cleaning staff.”

“Close to good restaurants”

“This is an unusual property. It offers no breakfast, charges for snacks, is basically a motel with outside access to rooms, and is finished inside with rough wood, yet the high cost is equal to hotels offering much more (breakfasts, finished wood interiors). The bathroom door barely cleared the toilet, squeezing you in to close it. The furniture and ceiling are plywood. Our room did have a fridge and microwave, which was much appreciated, the room was clean, and beds comfortable. But next time...

“Good solid room with good TV. Heat in bathroom was awesome. Sugar ants swarmed the AC but it was a really hot day so I understand. Complimentary breakfast was good but a little carb heavy.”

“Breakfast was substandard. Packaged stale pastries. Only hot food was oatmeal. Arrived and toilet base backed up. They were responsive, but housekeeping should have noticed the bowl wasn’t draining.”
