“We stayed overnight after visiting the tank museum and heading back up north. Welcoming staff and beautifully renovated inn. The rooms initially seem slightly expensive - until you walk in and realize you have a 'unit' rather than a room - large bedroom, large bathroom and superb lounge with fridge containing milk and chilled water. The rooms are well equipped with two flat screen TVs - next time we'll arrive earlier to enjoy the rooms more!”

Jacqui our host gave us a warm welcome to her gorgeous modern house that sits down a private lane in a meadow, with her small farm house a minutes walk away. “At £95 for the night I felt this was a bit much for the room I had. Bar staff were nice, no WIFI in the bedroom. A bit quiet in the bar, owner was busy on lap top and no music, not very atmospheric. The village is beautiful though”
